Now that Zaadz has determined that censorship is the new world order. I've been pondering the Integral method of forming and building a "force for change".
I'm reminded of the wise and noble spirit of whom I can't remember exactly, who was a pioneer in forming a "force for change". His method was very simple.
First, find a strong man that is slightly weaker than yourself.
Second, pick a fight and beat this guy up, so that he fears you.
Third, force him to follow you.
Fourth, find a slightly stronger man that is still weaker than the both of you combined, and repeat steps 1-3, but now with 2 on 1.
Fifth, keep finding new people.
Now, in this wonderful era of society and police, the ability of one person to beat up this many people is severely limited.
However, we have simple exchanged our physical beat downs for mental ones.
How to build a cult... *ehem* Integral...
First, find someone that is smart but slightly less smart than yourself.
Second, hold discussions in a manner that will make them feel bad and/or question themselves.
Third, force them to follow you.
Fourth, find a smarter person less smart than the two of you combined.
Fifth, repeat.
Keep this up until you've "changed the world", or as I like to call it "forced the world to think like you".
The power of the individual then becomes a function of the collective, but since each individual member is powerless on the inside, the actual collective power is zero too. When such a group or organization encounters beings that know Who They Are, and the nature of reality, and the intrinsic right and ability of all consciousness to choose, their only inevitable response will be to censor and/or rid the earth of these beings.
When such a group finds a being that will not "join" or "submit", they must become the destroyer they claim to be saving the world from. There's just no way around it.
So you see, it's not really about "changing the world for the better". It's about making the world the way they want it to be. And hey, you never know, you might not be one of they. It is their choice after all.

Recently we, the Enlightened Bastard POD, had a very dull and meaningless conversation with an Integral follower that basically boiled down to, "I'm right." vs. "No, I'm right." The Integral head quickly decided that we were relativistic thinkers, and wanted to save us from our limited thinking by exposing us to a paradox that he has decided exists because he was told by those he is following that it does.
In my attempt to communicate with this person, I was trying to break the conversation from right vs. right and introduced the concept that each person's perspective is valid, trying to get to the point that we each have choice. The Integral head said, "No, this is relativistic thinking and breaks down because the person is saying all perspectives are valid except this one which is higher, because it validates all perspectives." Sigh... Not was I was trying to communicate, but that's all he could see. Although, I do indeed know that all perspectives are valid to the individual perceiver. I mean can you really say a plants perspective is not valid, or a trees, or a dogs, or yours, or mine?
What quickly became apparent from this pointless conversation, was that the Integral head believed himself to be so right that nothing any body outside of Integral could say could be relevant to him. So we told him to leave and not come back, because what's the point in beating your head against a wall right?
In essence what the Integral head was saying however was this... "All perspectives are invalid except mine which is higher, and I'm here to berate you until you agree with me." This is one of the CORE elements of ALL religions. "We are right. You are wrong. Believe!"
Absurdity! His own argument disproves his own point of view. What I find extremely humorous about this whole situation is that he clearly acknowledges being in contradiction, although he disguises it with the word paradox. The paradox disappears though if you understand Who You Are.
I will never follow a follower. Why would I follow any religion? Christianity? Buddhism? Integral? Islam? Science? The people teaching you the religion are followers. They're not the original founder who "got it" on their own. Demonstrating of course that what we are truly seeking is indeed right there inside of us. None of the "greats" had people telling them how to think, or live, or be. They just went inside themselves and lived what felt right to them.
That's the point I was wanting to make. I AM a sovereign being. What I need to know is inside of me, and I can and will and AM living it by following what feels good and right and natural to me. There is NO ONE outside of me that has anything that's more valid than what is inside me, so why would I trade internal reality for external illusion? Most of the "greats" even say... "No one can tell you what it is..." Meaning, external words will not take you there. It must come from within.
If Integral followers really wanted to do the world a service, they'd do the following things.
A) They'd first demonstrate they are not just another religion. (Maybe to late for that.)
B) They'd live happy, joyful lives that just naturally brought others into friendly terms with them.
C) They'd see and treat others as valid human individuals in thought, word, and deed. Rather than starting out by looking down their nose at them. In my opinion, this is a fundamental flaw in Integral, because it is built upon a rating scale where others are categorized as lessor, and of course the Integral heads are at the top. Imagine that. Sound like any other religions you know? Some day they'll probabay want everyone to wear little colored stars on our coats, so that our rated status is obvious to all.
D) Think for themselves, rather than being followers of followers.
Just my two cents. Of course, my above list is probably impossible for them to even comprehend at this point, but it does give one pause to think.
The next time someone tells you your perspective is invalid and theirs is right. Think again. It doesn't matter what clever argument or tactic they use, they're just trying to steal your free will and make you another follower. Think about it.
Followers breed more followers. Individual are themselves.
